Meet the Expert: Brooke Taylor

Brooke Taylor is a NYC based personal trainer, creator of the Brooke Taylor Fit App and owner of Taylored Fitness NY LTD. She has been in the fitness industry for over 20 years and has accumulated over 98 certifications / continuing education courses.



Brooke is a highly qualified fitness instructor and trainer with a passion for helping individuals achieve their health and wellness goals. After graduating from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro with a dual major in BFA in Dance and Choreography and a BA in Psychology, Brooke moved to New York City in 2003 to pursue a professional career in dance and fitness.



She’s a true fitness powerhouse! She’s currently hard at work training her 1:1 clients, crafting engaging content for the Brooke Taylor Fit app, and serving as a sought-after MERRITHEW Instructor Trainer, with a special focus on STOTT PILATES®. She’s also the founder of Taylored Fitness NY LTD, where she’s putting her passion for health and wellness into action. With her extensive knowledge and dedication to helping others achieve their fitness goals, she’s truly a force to be reckoned with in the industry.

As a course instructor trainer, she teaches various workshops on anatomy, postural analysis, kinesiology and corrective exercise training. Through her knowledge of the human body, she has been able to design safe and effective programs for her clients that are based on their individualistic needs and goals.

Brooke always led a very active lifestyle and continues to embrace her love for movement by helping others create a life incorporating health and wellness. Through her foundation, she has had the ability to work with various individuals pre and post surgery to help them rehabilitate and move freer. 

Her private clientele consists of actors/actresses, Broadway singers/dancers, news broadcasters, models, athletes, entrepreneurs, businessmen and women, lawyers, teachers, graphic designers, etc. She views fitness as a way of life and looks at every “body” as a new challenge.

She believes that health is mental, physical and emotional. You need to have the mind/body connection in order to see optimal results. She was awarded as the Top District Trainer for 2008, 2009, and 2010 with NYSC.
